Raise Your Frequency: How Increasing Your Vibration Will Help Heal

What Does It Mean That Everything Is Energy?

We are energy. At our core, we are vibrational beings made up of a four-body system:

  • Physical: Our tangible body, organs, and physical sensations
  • Mental: Our thoughts, beliefs, and cognitive patterns
  • Emotional: Our feelings, moods, and emotional responses
  • Spiritual: Our connection to the divine, intuition, and inner purpose

Because we are energy, we emit frequency waves that carry information like sound or light. These vibrations are tangible, measurable, and deeply tied to our thoughts, feelings, and lives.

Understanding Frequency: Physics Meets Spirituality

In physics, frequency refers to the number of waves that pass a fixed point per unit of time. It is measured in megahertz (MHz) and reflects the vibration rate of a system in periodic motion.

From a spiritual perspective, the highest frequency is Light, also known as God, Source, or the Creator. As Nikola Tesla put it:

“What about the birth of the Universe? The matter is created from the original and eternal energy that we know as light. She shone and the stars, the planets, the man, and everything on Earth and in the Universe appeared. Matter is an expression of infinite forms of light because the energy is older than it.”

The more light we carry, the higher our frequency, meaning we literally vibrate faster and brighter.

Emotions and Vibration: The Spectrum of Light and Fear

So, how do we hold more light? By lightening up—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. According to A Course in Miracles, love and fear are the only two emotions. Everything else is a derivative of one of these energies.

Low-Frequency Emotions:

  • Fear
  • Worry
  • Doubt
  • Guilt
  • Shame

These emotions feel heavy, creating mental fog, emotional weight, and physical sluggishness. Life becomes effortful, and results often fall short.

High-Frequency Emotions:

  • Love
  • Joy
  • Kindness
  • Peace
  • Compassion
  • Authenticity

These feel light, empowering, and expansive. We think clearly, feel inspired, and move through life easily and purposefully.

How to Raise Your Frequency

Raising your vibration means healing and releasing what keeps you stuck in fear and limitation. This opens space for more light to flow through you.

Inner Work That Helps:

  • Therapy (including EMDR or brainspotting)
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Personal development books and seminars
  • Journaling and reflection
  • Spiritual practices like meditation or prayer

This kind of healing helps rewire your inner programming, making you more resilient, intuitive, and aligned.

Sound Healing and Vibrational Tools

Sound is one of the most direct ways to shift your energy field. Certain tones can lift your mood or soothe your nervous system within seconds.

Sound Healing Modalities:

  • Tuning forks
  • Singing bowls
  • Gongs
  • Binaural beats

Think of a time when a song changed your mood. That’s frequency at work.

What Are Binaural Beats?

Binaural beats are an auditory illusion: when two different frequencies are played in each ear, the brain perceives a third tone—the difference between them. This third tone can help:

  • Calm anxiety
  • Improve focus
  • Promote creativity
  • Deepen meditation

Explore the Solfeggio Scale

These frequencies are said to resonate with specific aspects of healing and consciousness. Try searching for them by number or intention on platforms like YouTube or music apps.

How Do You Know Your Frequency?

You might wonder: What’s my frequency in megahertz? While there are esoteric ways to measure it, the truth is:

How you feel is your best indicator.

Your frequency is high if you feel light, clear, peaceful, and inspired. If you feel stuck, heavy, or overwhelmed, your vibration may be low, and that’s simply an invitation to shift.

Everyday Practices to Increase Your Vibration and Raise Your Light

  • Do a daily emotional check-in: “Do I feel heavy or light today?”
  • Practice letting go of one fear-based thought per day.
  • Explore a new sound frequency that matches how you want to feel.
  • Choose love, joy, or compassion in a small action.
  • Take five minutes to breathe, center, and connect with your heart.

Reflection

You don’t need a machine to tell you your vibration. You already know. When you feel joyful, aligned, open, and at peace, your light is shining. The more you heal and release, the more space you create for light—and the more you resonate with your highest frequency.

What could you release today to make more room for light?
